چکیده

This study evaluated the effects of potassium and sodium carbonate bicarbonate, Bacillus subtilis (Cohn, 1872) QST-713, pumilus (Meyer & Gottheil, 1901) QST-2808, crude roasted coffee oils on inhibition mycelial growth conidial germination in Botrytis cinerea Pers.: Fr colonization begonia (Begonia elatior Hort. ex Steud) leaf discs by B. inoculated before, simultaneously after with these alternative products. The assays were carried out using Baladin cultivar. was proportional to increases concentration all directly concentrations QST-2808 QST-713. Coffee less efficient inhibiting than other oils, carbonates bicarbonates, sprayed 24 h simultaneously, or pathogen inoculation inhibited cinerea. positive results for suppression products tested herein merit scrutiny. There is a pressing need evaluate management gray mold, as severity this disease usually high under favorable conditions greenhouses.

Action Spectrum for Photosporogenesis in Botrytis cinerea Pers. ex Fr.

An action spectrum for photoinduced conidium formation in the fungus Botrytis cinerea Pers. ex Fr. was determined by exposing colonies to monochromatic radiation obtained from a diffraction grating monochromator. Wavelengths longer than 355 nm were ineffective even after exposures of 8 hours at intensities of 4,068 to 8,276 erg per cm(2) per second. Colonies were exposed at 22.5 C from 226 to 3...

EFFECTS OF Trichoderma asperellum [T1] ON Botrytis cinerea [PERS.: FR.], GROWTH AND YIELD OF ORGANIC STRAWBERRY

Fungi Trichoderma spp. are present in nearly all soils and other habitats. Most of Trichoderma strains are efficient for control of some pathogens. Some strains induce plant native defence mechanisms. Botrytis cinerea [Pers.: Fr.] causes economic losses on a wide range of cultivated plants and stored fruits. In presented work Trichoderma asperellum [strain T1] isolated from commercial product w...

Control strategies against grey mould (Botrytis cinerea Pers.: Fr) and corresponding fungicide residues in grapes and wines.

This study examines the most effective anti-Botrytis strategies leading to possible lower pesticides residues in wine. To provide wine growers with a number of high-quality solutions for protection against Botrytis for their vineyards while minimizing pesticide residues in the final product, various treatment approaches were tested. A total of 10 strategies with different specific fungicide tre...

Calcium eect on the mycelial cell walls of Botrytis cinerea

The goal of this study was to determine whether calcium ion, (one of the electrolytes released after plant cell attack), may have a direct e€ect on fungal growth and chemistry of the fungal cell wall. B. cinerea was grown on Richard's solution containing di€erent amounts of CaCl2, and the cell walls were extracted from the mycelium after 7 days of growth. Mineral, neutral and aminosugar, protei...

Chemical composition and antifungal activity of essential oils of seven Moroccan Labiatae against Botrytis cinerea Pers: Fr.

Essential oils of seven Moroccan Labiatae were chemically analysed by GC-MS and evaluated for their in vitro antifungal activity against Botrytis cinerea. Among them, Origanum compactum and Thymus glandulosus greatly inhibited the growth of the mycelium. The inhibition of Botrytis cinerea was 100% for both oils at 100 ppm, while the IC(50)s were 35.1 and 79.2 ppm, respectively. Mentha pulegium ...
